More than one Self Help Group comes together to form a Federation. So, it has larger membership hence gives ability to members to take more loan.

As of today we have 7-8 Federations serving it's beneficiaries adequately by us and it serves as a perfect tool for us to eliminate poverty or lack of finances in economic weaker sections of target communities.
Self Help Groups

SHGs are the building blocks of organisation of the poor and hence the main strategy of SIDE to eradicating poverty.

Not only do they help women become financially self-reliant, the regular meetings of the group provide a platform to discuss and act on a variety of social issues such as health, nutrition, domestic violence, etc.

They can get timely loans for a variety of purposes and at a reasonable interest rate.

The SHGs help the borrower to overcome the problem of lack of collateral.
Income Generation and Enterprenuership Training

To equip women through training to generate income

To make them aware about their skills which can be monetised in the market making them financial independent

To provide them hand holding support

(seed funding, working capital and enterpreneurship training) at the initial stage if women want to start a small scale business

To generate employability among women by providing them skills which are in demand according to market trend.
